Ouch. New Orlean's adopted son, Drew Brees just became the latest victim of auto scheduled Facebook posts -- at least that is what I hope.
To make matters worse, as of the writing of this post, some 50 minutes after the fauxpas -- there doesn't seem to be any response from Drew or his people. Is this just a lapse or yet another high profile example of a brand (yes I see Drew as a brand) without a solid social media strategy.
Luckily for Drew, a number of his fans are coming to his defense and pointing out the obvious "oversight" but that doesn't seem to be tempering the anger, which I'm sure if partially fueled by Isaac weary Who Dats.
This will be an interesting one to follow in the days ahead to see if Drew and his team can turn things around or if it blows up into a major post-Isaac story.
